To tailor the right treatment therapy for you, I use a variety skills & tools and therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, maudsley approaches, psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy, solution focused therapy and specialist supportive care.
Over the years I have become a leading specialist in eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, depression and interpersonal relationships in the NHS and private sector. I am a published expert, have appeared in the Guardian Newspaper and Radio 4 Woman's Hour, the Victoria Derbyshire show and lecture / teach internationally. I'm Managing Director of the newly launch Maudsley Private Care which is part of South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Consultant Psychotherapist, supervisor and FREED Co-Lead.
I have many years experience as a psychotherapist/supervisor & nurse having completed a Masters (MA) in Counselling Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma Family Therapy, BSc Hons in Psychology & Diploma in Mental Health Nursing. In addition: completed supervision training at Institute of Psychiatry and Postgraduate certificate in Family Therapy. Accredited Member of British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists.
